Kishir's Hinoki bed is a "breathing bed". The highly breathable drainboard effectively dissipates sweat while sleeping, creating a comfortable rest time. Only Kishir uses luxurious slats with narrower spacing than usual. Simple and minimal style with no head panel etc.
POINT
Comfortable bed even with a futon on it
The slats are made of wide boards with small spaces between them, so even if you lay your futon on it, it won't be lumpy, squeak, or shake, so you can sleep comfortably. It is designed to be safe for the elderly and small children to avoid getting their fingers caught.

We use plenty of solid wood that is specially sawn in our own factory.
We use luxurious solid wood with no knots, which is sawn from logs for the bed, so you don't have to worry about damaging your bedding. The finish uses a vegetable oil-based paint that does not hinder the wood's breathing, maximizing the humidity control effect of the cypress slatted bed.

Care
For normal cleaning, wipe with a damp cloth that has been wrung out thoroughly. Light stains can be removed with an eraser or melamine sponge. Applying a special oil on a regular basis will increase the shine and make it even more beautiful.

Uses F★★★★ (Forster) paint, which has the highest standard for emitting chemical substances. It is a paint made from natural raw materials such as soybeans, sunflowers, flax, and castor seeds, and the paint film is safe and complies with the Food Sanitation Act. It is safe even if children or pets come into contact with it.
Painting method
It is finished by hand to ensure that the oil penetrates deep inside. Since it takes longer to dry than chemical paints, people tend to avoid it in general, but we spare no effort to ensure safety and security.

We use a formaldehyde-free water-based polymer isocyanate wood adhesive specified by the Japanese Industrial Standards (JIS).

We use "GOOD WOOD" that is planted and grown by hand. It is a sustainable material that does not damage the natural environment. [Hinoki] Mainly uses raw materials from FSC certified forests managed under strict rules. [Hardwood] We use domestic materials that do not unnecessarily destroy nature, such as those cut down for public works or environmental protection.
drying
We are particular about natural drying without using any preservatives, fungicides, or insect repellents, and use a dryer only to adjust the moisture content at the end. It is aged and dried over a period of one year, which is longer than the typical drying period.
Unused ingredients
In addition to formaldehyde, it does not contain lead, toluene, xylene, or chlorpyrifos during the manufacturing process.
