Stole dyed using hand-painted Yuzen technique
Linen fabric is dyed using the hand-painted Yuzen technique (hiki-zome). Click on the hand-painted Yuzen to see the process.
A stole approximately 50 x 200 cm linen fabric dyed using a brush to create a gradation of colors reminiscent of the sky at sunrise or sunset.
Since the color changes diagonally, the color expression changes both vertically and horizontally of the fabric.
A piece whose impression changes depending on which color you put in front of it.
The tassel is about 2cm. Just remove the weft.
The soft fabric is approximately 50cm wide, so it can be wrapped around your neck for a nice volume, and can be used in a variety of situations, such as over your shoulder or as a lap blanket.
The colors are blurred diagonally across the fabric: white (the original color of the fabric) → yellow → orange.
The color of the fabric changes both vertically and horizontally, giving it a different impression depending on which color you put in front of it.
The colors are bright and gorgeous, and if you change the way you wrap it depending on your mood, the look will change each time, and you can spend the day feeling bright and cheerful.
We use the traditional hand-painted Yuzen technique to dye kimono, so it would make a great gift for someone from overseas or a special someone.

It's difficult to see where the colors overlap, so I dye it while watching the tone so that it changes naturally.
Since it is dyed with a brush rather than printed, the dye penetrates deep into the fabric and does not affect the texture of the fabric.
