When most people hear the word herb, they probably think of green plants, but they come in a variety of colors depending on the type. The colors of the herbs printed on this tote bag have been carefully adjusted to reproduce their natural colors.
There are three types of herbs.
"Rose" has a relaxing effect that relieves stress and brightens your mood.
"Cornflower" is effective for beauty treatments such as tightening the skin and relieving eye strain.
"Horsetail" has the effect of keeping various parts of the body healthy, such as regulating the autonomic nervous system.
Just like the herbs you put into your body, try choosing a bag intuitively to match your mood and physical condition that day, as if you were maintaining your mind and body on a daily basis.
Bold embroidery that harmonizes with the herbal print pattern
The embroidery combined with the print is an original design created by embroidery artist Takako that matches the color and expression of the herb.
The embroidery layered on top of the herbs is like a drawing drawn in nature.
Although it feels strange, it harmonizes well, and I am excited by Taka's typical sense of playfulness.
Technically, the thickness and density of the embroidery lines and the size of the motif were revised many times to ensure that the impact of the herbal pattern was not lost.
Voile fabric and two patterns that overlap as if containing air
Since we were aiming for a fluffy and soft impression from the beginning of development, we were particular about using a lightweight voile fabric that is transparent and light, rather than hard fabrics such as so-called strong canvas.
The most appealing feature is the lightness of the two sheets of sheer voile fabric, which are layered with plenty of air.
As we use light fabric, we also take into consideration the strength of the bag, so we try to reduce seams as much as possible, and carefully add cross stitching to the adhesive area between the handle and the main body.
