ReTA BASE/ReTA BASE” is a project that collects used stretch film and carries out the entire process from pellet production to weaving and sewing in Japan. The material for this project is made of 900 denier polyethylene and at this time consists of 15% recycled pellets for the fabric front and back coating. These recycled pellets are produced by collecting used stretch film, which is generally discarded, sorted and cleaned.
ReTA BASE material has excellent tensile and tear strength, and is lightweight and durable. The coating process applied to the front and back of the fabric also makes it highly waterproof, with a water pressure resistance of 7,000 mm.
