LEAVES TO TEA is a teaware line that brings a new perspective and sensibility to everyday tea.
This teaware series is designed with a focus on ease of use and appearance that suits modern times, and each item is carefully made by craftsmen in Hasami Town, Nagasaki Prefecture, a potter's town with a 400-year history.
Available in two colors: sharp and beautiful white, and black with a tasteful uneven color due to kiln changes. The beauty of the finish, including the porcelain strainer on the inside and the draining spout, is the work of a skilled craftsman.
The design has a dignified tension, yet is soft enough to fit easily in your hand, making your everyday tea time even richer.
The design was done by Kosei Shirotani from the design office [Studio Shirotani] that runs this shop.
Many of KINTO's products are designed and distributed at Studio Shirotani.
